I'm very hard on my hands...water chemicals whatever..using my nails as tools Me, too. That's why this is so great - first polish that's ever lasted! They say not to peel it because it will ruin your nails. Soaking is overcome with a little oil (which they usually put on your nails/cuticles right after they remove. Some places do little aluminum wraps around cotton balls soaked in acetone. The salon I went to last just had me soak in a bowl and it worked fine. A little scraping with an orangewood stick and viola!

yeah she showed me the aluminum wraps. I just buffed them there fine.

The lady I went to, couldn't speak English...very little. The man there told me a little but he was very unfriendly. The lady was really sweet and did a good job, we just had trouble communicating.

My manicure is RUINED!!!!! I was painting my son's bathroom cabinets today and ran out of paint...he brought me OIL BASED PAINT!!! Now I have white smears all over my nails!!!

Sorry to hear about the mani, Vivian. I got my new laptop today! I won't have time to set it up tonight, but it's here! Whoopie! Off to Mingle while a program installs, then I have to reboot and go do some assessments.

No. I am not doing graphics work and I can get a lot more PC for a lot less money. It's a new Dell with latest and greatest...it will serve me for years (this desktop is at least 8 and probably pushing 10 yrs!)
