Topic: Excellent Question | |

I realize it's your opinion. I was just asking questions based on your posts. If I'm not allowed to do that, let me know! actually you were asking questions using only part of what I said and not the entire thing. I am pretty sure I was clear about what I posted. I love a good debate/discussion but let's discuss the real deal |

so why is obama only giving birth control to women then? it seems to me he's saying it's the womans problem, not the guys... there is one answer for ya as to why... Obama is giving birth control to women? yes... How so? Making it more readily available? How would he do that for men if there isn't a birth control pill out there that is available for them? don't you watch the news? it's free birth control for women... and why there is not a birth control pill for men, there is not a market for it. companies are not going to spend money on something that will not make money in return... |

Oh, I have to disagree there. If there were a pill for men, I would have taken it. I think a lot of guys would. |

Women have all sorts of chemical changes that go on in their body to make them fertile. Men are fertile most if not all of their lives. I would guess that it's biologically more difficult to render a man incapable of producing viable sperm with a pill. Honestly, where are these men who love wearing a condom, cause I want to know how they got their head injuries and I'm wondering why they haven't been treated for them yet. |

So.. you know for sure that only 20 men out of the whole country would use it? As for Catholics, I know Catholic women who use birth control, so who is to say that men wouldn't either? Would you use it if it were available? |

Actually if you read back through this thread (or the news) you'd know they are working on it, and the say the market for it is growing fast. AND it's in clinical trials AND it will probably hit the market soon (soon in drug terms). FTR, they've actually been working on it since I was in my twenty's (I like to keep up on science and what's happening), so the idea and the desire has existed for a long time. |

Then what you said about Catholics and other religions that don't believe in birth control doesn't matter much, does it, if it's not keeping them all from using birth control. |

sure, ok... still doesn't negate the fact there is nothing out there for men....whatever the reason, there is nothing... Seems to me it's something they're working on, as shown in the article I posted earlier. And just because you're not willing to take on the responsibility of using birth control, I doubt that means no men are. |

just like a liberal, read one thing and turn it into something else... Notice I said the responsibility of using birth control. Since we were talking about male birth control in this thread, that's what I was talking about. |
