I got off facebook a few months ago when they were making a lot of changes... I couldn't stand all the drama and crap that was going on, couldn't find anything... I'm back for now only because my family is spread out and we keep in touch.. I haven't done the timeline yet and not sure if I want to...

My only peeve with Timeline was that you had to go back and individually edit things, rather then a lump sum button. I'm enjoying the "cover picture" part, though.

I'm not crazy about time line and I like the old format because I could see more posts, almost have to go look for some people sometimes now. I like that I'm not censored...

I haven't made the switch to time line yet. Looks pretty lame from what I've seen on other people's profiles.

It's nice to catch up with friends from school but have also had some very unpleasant experiences with 'old' friends as well.

I closed my fb account just about a year ago. I don't miss it at all.
Too many people posting nonsense about the most mundane aspects of their lives. Not to mention, I don't really want people knowing my business so I wasn't crazy about the complete lack of privacy, regardless of what you had your privacy settings at.
I feel the same way about Twitter too. I don't care enough to follow anyone and don't want anyone following me.
Btw, I'm really not at all anti-social. I just prefer to have actual conversations with people.

I will say one other positive about FB...having people involved in the horror biz as friends on there I get to learn about upcoming horror flicks I may not have heard about otherwise.

no need to use Face book i think its just a trend like people using so many cell phones lollll now a days people are like robots follow the leader when i a new thing comes out oh no i need it now but do you really? twitter too lolll next it will be beam talk lolll we all spend enough time here to worry about thousands on face book you would never do nothing else hahaha once your hooked look out i saw it with so many people hours and hours texting and they say i am on face book lolllll just give me 1 min and 3 hours later they say ok lets go out i say already been and back lollll

haha Moe... I dont accept anyone on FB I don't know or at least know something about, I also use it as a means to keep in touch with distant friends and fam. We also use it as a search engine through work to find certain people.

Facebook is an excellent online took useful for both personal and professional relationships. Not to mention keeping up on the latest in subjects I'm interested in.

yes if other family using it tooif they don't then good luck:) instead of just phoning them i guess lolll as for latest in subjects i just use the net:) i don't need to log in 1 site to find info about another i just go strait to subject and net faster:)

Although I seldom use FB,I agree that it does have some practical uses professionally, it's just the inane chatter and invites to mafia wars and the like that I don't like.

i don't blame ya, i get friend requests everyday, but i just ignore them. i never even go to facebook anymore, just a waste of time for me...
