A number of years ago ther was a movie called the Great Imposter and a newer movie Catch Me If You Can. Both true storys and both almost got away with it. My doctor when I was a kid treated me and my 12 siblings for years. He passed away whem I was 35 just after he had retired. Found out that he had never been to medical school and was not a licenced doctor anywhere in the world. Dr Kent Hovand famous creation scientist only got caught for income tax evasion not for his fake credentials. As far as background checks, unless you are applying for a top secret govt job, I wouldnt worry about it.

i agree that tons do get caught but some learn them selfs and then use the degree i sure they just not going into a job with nothing that would be stupid but you can read almost anything off the net or learn almost anything too:) and fast too :) but even people that go through the hole school thing lolllllll some still forget too:) thats why others and union help people out :) but i still think its not worth the risk people that sell them make billions :). A real diploma from a fake school is easily had. They are legal, but they are only useful for impressing idiots. If you want to sell a product or a book to new agers, it can be helpful to have a real diploma from a fake school. The 'school' is just a business for selling people diplomas. They might even make you take a couple online courses to make it seem legit.



A fake diploma from a real school just has to be illegal. It's fraud. Who would do that? It's not worth it. I don't see how it would be advantageous, either. If you wanted to lie, you don't need that piece of paper to lie.

I receive three diplomas (two bs and one ms) from a proper state university. I burned one, shredded another, and used the 3rd for stationary.

Throughout my life I've used these credentials to get jobs, and no one, ever, has asked to see the actual diplomas. Maybe some called the university to confirm, but some did not.

People get away with this all the time, many because they have the knowledge just never bothered to go through the schooling. I know people in radio and communications that can work circles around most engineers and some dont have high school diplomas. My daughter does college calculus in her head and had never set foot in a classroom. I know my spelling sucks but you get the point. I speak 8 languages and have never sat in a language class in my life.
But why would you want a fake diploma? Ill ask again and again, why????

I think people buy their diploma's when they go to college. Teacher's don't really teach people. They just give you a book to read or lecture you for an hour every day, then give you a test.

Most of the stuff you learn in college is useless crap.

A girl I know with a diploma in Art, could not even paint a picture. She went to college to learn art, and they did not teach her how to actually produce any artwork.

A diploma is just a certificate that you need as proof that you aren't the blithering idiot that you seem to be. I don't think lack of one will prevent you from being a success in business or in life.

Real brick and mortar colleges will be obsolete in the future because everyone will get the largest majority of their education via on-line colleges, then they will go to work in their field as apprentices to complete their degree.

That is the future I predict.

As for fake diploma's I think they are funny. When you see a diploma on the office wall of a professional person you are doing business with, how many people do you think will actually check the credentials or even read the diploma carefully? Very few.

Think it happens a lot more than people want to admidt. I would not be surprised that a lot of people have faked High School diplomas to get into higher education at some point because now they require a sealed transcipts be forwared from the highschool you atteneded.

I think the insurance industry probably prevents a lot of fake degrees because they are not going ot vet a diploma and write insurance with out some kind of documentation beyond a recorded diploma. .
