Not only does this apply to failed romances...it also applies to a-holes who pretend to be friends and jobs that suck.

When EITHER of your basic needs aren't being met or the other is violating your limits.

Sometimes things happen that you have no control of and the friends that leave you don't know the whole truth..it happens. It's always sad when a relationship ends, whether it's a love relationship or just a friends thing...but everything happens for a reason.

Today an ex friends ex wife came by work to get boxes cause she is moving. We chatted for a bit. Her Ex came up and I told her how he had stolen fom me and just did me dirty. I told her "If I never see him again, my life will be better for it. The smile on her face let me know that she loved actually hearing someone say it. Her reply..."I wish I had that option!"

I'm sorry that happened to you and his ex both...you invested a lot of time in the friendship. She invested part of her life...hopefully something good will come out of it. You both learned from the experience.
