Whenever I log on here, a rogue site attempts a high jack. Thankfully my security system blocks it, identifying it as malicious...Has anyone else had similar problem?

Sounds like you're infected with malware.

Totage is spot on, above, tudoravenger, There are no automatic redirects on Mingle2. I would suggest running a full system scan, using a trusted anti-virus/malware program. |

Clean your computer good with at least two applications and then switch to FireFox for your web browser and get the add-ons: FlashBlock and Noscript.

My computer has id site as LOOKOUT MOVIES.COM.
Also no malware detected. DO NOT GO THERE! I DON'T.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
|
|
|
What did you use to scan?
I suggest using three different applications: SpyBot, MalwareBytes and a virus scanner like Avast, Avira or Microsoft Security Essentials. |

The only thing I get when I log in to Mingle are popups. A small pop up in the lower right hand corner of the screen which is a little annoying.

After long nights of worry, tracked the prob to one of my microsoft programmes...Tried to delete but computer refused...Even reboot failed...!
Perhaps I should bribe it with Whisky? |

This link is for free software for your problem:
http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free I recommend after the problem is wiped out, take if off your computer and download when needed. Malware software apparently will mess with your antivirus security system software when updates are downloaded. For, it wants to be the boss of certain things and may override in an area or two. Therefore: 1. Download the free malware software and let it perform the fix. 2. Shut down and reboot/start up your computer system. 3. Check to find if the problem is gone. 4. Problem fixed, remove the free software and down the road download malware when needed and remove when the problem is fixed. |

FlashBlock will prevent flash movies from playing without your permission. |
