Topic: Do we know the real you?

Nobody knows the real me although the person here typing these words is not a lie. I guess the "real" you is a conundrum. The real question should be do people want to know the real you? Can anyone handle it? We're not all simple, that's the only truth. Why shouldn't they want to know the real you? Is there a reason? Yeah...people tend to fear what they don't understand. But I hope its not true forever. My friends more or less get me, so it isn't all desolate.

I don't tell everyone (except people I'm close to and talk to often) what makes me tick (personal things) in the forums I'm pretty upfront, likes to joke, likes to debate, likes to help. Those are surface things the why's of who I am isn't always told on the forums....however many things have been

I'm much more composed here, and online in general. In meatspace, I wear my emotions on the outside and don't always think carefully before I speak. I'm even different from work than I am with friends, or at home. At work, I'm hard driven and professional, very detail oriented and uncompromising. At home, I'm very laid back and casual. On an up day, I'm quick-witted and "intense". On a down day, I'm reticent and surly.

Are you the same in the forums as you are in person? Do you let people know what you're really like? Or, do you play a part and be who you want to be, rather than yourself? Since I'm actually a cat in real life, I would say I'm slightly different. Meow!
