confront him every time don't let even one lie slip past he'll squirm like a school boy in a nun's math class but if he's got potential to be a decent guy he will apologize and grow up if he tries to fight u or accuses u of nagging or in anyway tries to shirk responsibility for his bad behavior - you don't want him - so if it pushes him away to confront him - so be it - u are better off without that type

Oh, stop pretending it's a gender-specific issue. Lol... People lie because they have an agenda - resume lies are no better and no worse than lying to a person you just met about your potentially incriminating or stigmatizing sexual history. Everyone lies, it's a human issue. Plus, we all find ways of justifying our lies - do the ends justify the means? Depends on what you're after.

Some people are compulsive liars..for them, it's almost second nature to lie and they do it with no remorse, without thought and without worrying who they hurt. I'm a great believer in karma

We lie for the same reason women lie. To get the outcome we want the easiest way possible. The motive behind it can be any of our basic emotions; anger, fear, lust, ect. Ask yourself "Why would I lie to get in someone's pants?". It's usually a simple answer, "It's the easiest way to get what I want". Lying makes you selfish and weak. The real problem comes when you have convinced yourself the lie is the truth. But in the words of George Costanza, "It's not a lie, if you believe it."

I don't understand. Was lying supposed to end in 2012? Yup. That's actually what the Mayan calendar said..that LYING not the WORLD was supposed to end in 2012. But some jerk who translated it decided that wasn't exciting enough, so he lied about it.
