A lot of women (and men) make up all sorts of reasons why they don't want to get involved with someone...maybe the "distance" thing is one of them.

I think that it's all up to the individual. Make friends first. Look for peole who are compatable with you, especially concerning where you live, if someone doesnt want long distance then they are not suitable. Long distance is hard work and takes commitment and trust. It is not for everyone, don;t be dissapointed if it's not for everyone, it's just a preference the same as having children, or wanting to get married. Just look for someone who wants the same as you,.

I USED to think it was possible because we can't control who we feel for, but I'm starting to believe there are A LOT more closed off people than I thought.. I once had a guy drive 4 hours just to see me. Its rare, true, but its not impossible. What really sucks is falling for a guy who doesn't believe in them. That won't happen again. Never. I guess they think they're being more realistic, diluting and depriving themselves to close proximity. If they hate their scenery so much, then change it.

As for LDR's....they come with their own unique set of challenges. But, the reality is that there are challenges in any relationship and they're either worth overcoming or they're not. Patience, communication and the ability to look at the big picture farther down the road are the keys to success.

yes i believe in distance love rather it long or short and to be honest it not the distance that dont make it work it the people involve that have to make it work

I figure if one is truly open-minded in all ways, than complications would be minimal. There wouldn't be a need to question what's right and wrong. I guess most don't live in their feelings like I do. Sure it takes a lot of work, meeting that someone you have a strong connection with AND on the right page, won't happen that easy but it happens. Not enough people take chances anymore. Letting their past linger in the background because they think they'll never find what they had with their past true love. I don't believe this. Love can be all around. Are you sharp enough to see it?

I'm sorry......I know this will be a shock to most..... But........... I have to be Honest..... If she isn't atleast 7" close..... She don't stand a chance!!!!!
