noone has the right to fly, if its a right you arent paying for it
if you do PAY for it, and it is a service, there are usually some guidelines or requirements, just like I can PAY for a ticket to a movie, but I wont be permitted to ENTER With recording devices,,, if you dont get the service you paid for, because of refusal to cooperate with whatever was AGREED to in the contract you sign,, its your own responsibility,,, if its not explicit in a contract, there is room for arbitration about whether the money is due to be returned,,, |

I don't like being touched at all or my space invaded by another, unless I give express permission. I think this comes from being abused. I wouldn't submit to it either, nor will I ever. Rights don't apply here because nobody has a RIGHT to fly, but it is invasive and congress made sure to include in this bill/law that they are not to be subjected to TSA at airports, they bypass them and get right on the plane. It's true that noone has a right to fly. However, the ticket holder has a right to the service he's paid for. True, and if he/she goes through the dog and pony show (TSA)bucking the system they will get what they paid for. True. It's unfortunate the TSA was ever created in the first place. It's one of the numerous unnecessary, unconstitutional, irrational government agencies that needs to be abolished. |

Not flying would be a great way to protest the bull crap. I never liked flying and now I will never fly again. Airports creep me out these days.
Especially the Denver airport. That is one very creepy place. |

Our country would be a better place if all of our senators were as principled as Ron and Rand Paul are.

You really don't have any idea, NONE of this is about safety. Never was, nor will it ever be. That's just the story they push on us to make us agree to their demands. If they truly gave two ***** about safety why do repeat events still happen? Some safety checkers they are, a guy can board a plane with a man in a suit accompanying him, and no valid boarding pass just fine, but don't worry, they're protecting you from people who dare to bring cupcakes on board. Wake the hell up. |

IF police really care, why does crime still happen?

If the media really cares, why dont they tell us about every event that happens at every moment at every place in the world? IF they care about our safety, why do 'events' still happen? ..seems to me he just has an over inflated ego..if the rest of us have to go through the routine so can he..just another one in the government who thinks he's above it all..tuff chit for him..it's about time someone in the government is made to realize he's no better than anyone else,and if he doesn't like it ..who cares ..get in line buddy and be thankful they didn't ask you to bend over and cough.. 
..i realize there are those who don't agree with these routines but they're probably the same ones who would raise a ruckus if a plane was to get blown up,they would be wanting to know why more wasn't being done to insure their safety..well this is more..welcome to the world of terrorism..

The wealthy elite senators who think they are above the rest of us charter their own jets. Paul is flying on a commercial plane just like the rest of us. You don't have to be a rich senator to refuse to be searched. Many people have refused the TSA scan since it was introduced. But when a senator stands up for freedom, the message is a bit more powerful: even those who help craft the laws feel that the TSA is out of line. well this is more..welcome to the world of terrorism..
