damnitscloudy: I think there is a huge difference between someone having a bad day once in a while and needing support from their friends here (which would be what you were talking about), and someone who hijacks the boards by trying to call attention to themselves with a "problem" or question that reveals that they are kinky sexually or are fishing for sexual compliments.

iam so tired of the pity party threads where someone will post ok im leaving and then try to get everyone to beg them to stay.. thats attention seeking.... also the threads where ppl are askin you to tell them what u like about them, are they pretty etc are very childish and i usually only post in the games threads cuz most of the other ones are to childish.

Bravo Mike, you keep it REAL with honesty!

NO MORE PITY-SEEKING THREADS. Community forums are not for that but about everyone as a whole, no focus on one person.

There was one guy who used to post a lot about, did we think he was hot, etc., and he was pretty funny about it. That I did not mind. I haven't seem him lately, tho'.

There are some who take pratice on being in post for self pity, yes.
But there are SOME who like Damhitscloudy, who MIGHT just be lost at the moment, and make a thread pertaining to down or depressed and needing some friends to talk to.
NOW, with EVERY rule comes MEMBERS ability to USE that RULE to CHANGE what THEY don't like.
So hence, it could be banned, or voted to remove based MOSTLY on the fact that the FIRST one who demmed it SELF-PITY, the REST just took HIS insight and followed suit.
Then the post leaves and the person now REALLY is lost and confused?
I have seen ALOT of posts fall prey to only one reader making a rash or intentional complaint to have others just follow that persons lead and poof, the thread is dead.
How is the self moderation going, and have there been any
people warned on acting FALSELY on getting a post removed?
THAT is the ONLY problems I see that could happen, or FRIENDS ganging up on someone that THEY don't LIKE?
I am going to be me here and if THAT me is against the new rules, I hope YOU will warn me before you ban me?
I believe in BEING REAL, and if I have to be FAKE to talk then
I WON'T lie on post or in REAL life as to how I speak here or in person, if someone see's my posts or words as self-pity, or
offenseive, then I guess I'll just be banned, thats hard to see happening but NOW I do see THAT a realility.

This is a DATING SITE, but when I joined HERE, IT wasn't really determened as to JUST WHAT it was, but WE CALLED it a FRIENDS AND DATING SITE! I have found it to be a place where people CAN make FRIENDS and thoughts of DATING each other.
But we are getting so SELF CENTERED as to WHAT, and WHO, and HOW, we SPEAK and SPEAK OF, that THIS is consuming our attentions MORE, than the possible FRIENDSHIPS to see, and the possible DATING to find.
WE ARE BUT PEOPLE, and WE come with ALL RACES and COLORS, SIZES, MANNERS, and PERSONALITIES! WE NEED RESPECT FOR EACH OTHER, MORE THAN WE NEED TO RULE EACH OTHER.
If we allow are size in numbers to increase the PAGES of rules we have, then we become a classroom study course, just to KNOW all the RULES in order to be on here.
And THEN, we are NOT an EASY PLACE TO BE TO SEE, or find friends or love.
