WHEN THE FLAG IS DISPLAYED 'facing the flag' the displayed flag is BEHIND all involved, including those with hand on heart,,,,so its not disrespect, especially if there is no flag displayed for them to face and particularly because of the inclusion of the word 'should' instead of 'must' the people in the photo seem to be facing the same way and two of them seem to be following the tradition. in any case we all know how some people feel. obama could be playing pocket pool at a fallen soldiers funeral, some people would not find it offensive and probably find a reason to praise him for the behavior |

Oh come on Ms, you would defend Obama if he was wiping his azz with the American flag......lol And yes I think as the leader of this nation, he should set an example. That's not silly like I think you're about to type, that's what is called good PR. And national anthem or pledge, you're not simply respecting a piece of cloth...it's a symbol of the USA, and the people who gave their life for that "piece of cloth" and those that put their lives on the line for it daily. |

how old is that clip that the title is
Obama Out of Tune? Sen. Obama leaves his hands to his side during the national anthem. obama's title is sen. and the sentence seems to say that his hands being left to his side during the national anthem is wrong |
