Death Masks, of The Dresden Files, by Jim Butcher.
The first major plot point of the book is resolved in about a page and a half 2/3s of the way through the book. I'm starting to wonder if Butcher gets in over his head when he writes so many plots, sub-plots, and side plots. There are at least four major things going on in Dresden's life in this book, and his priorities are split so many ways he can't possibly achieve them all. |

I can't tell ya how much I've enjoyed getting back into reading...especially all my SK that I've missed. I hadn't read for several years due to cataracts. Then in March I had surgery to fix. Since March 25th...I have read 4 books. And one of em was the BIG one of 11/22/63.

Glad it was a successful surgery and you've been able to get back to reading again 
If you haven't yet, King's son Joe Hill has written some good stuff- Horns, and NOS4A2 are great, I still haven't read his book Heart Shaped Box, and short story collection 20th Century Ghosts yet. |

If you haven't yet, King's son Joe Hill has written some good stuff- Horns, and NOS4A2 are great, I still haven't read his book Heart Shaped Box, and short story collection 20th Century Ghosts yet. ....LOL, i am confessing......I had to re-read NOS4A2 several times before I figured it out

Recently finished Joyland by Stephen King. Very good for such a short story....but then, he is always good

Re read Stephen King's Mr Mercedes, then read the sequel Finders Keepers (nice followup), then read Beasts Of Tarzan (Edgar R Burrough's 3rd book in his Tarzan saga), now reading the 5th book in Charles L Grant's Oxrun Station series: The Bloodwind.
