I don't read blogs - don't trust them. But don't all countries spy on each other. It's a common practice. Only when it comes out in the open we are shocked. It's nothing special.

The thing about this is that wire tapping is illegal even for our own government, but this stuff is undetectable and it is not even our own government that is doing it.

They could possibly even be listening to the President's phone.

I doubt if the 'security circle' that surrounds the President is that inept.

If Israel owns certain telephone networks, and can listen in without detection to anyone on that network and has a back door into it ... er ... yes they are inept.

We spy in and on Israel who cares? EVERY Government in the world does it to every other Government in the world.

If Israel is spying on Americans and able to listen to anyone's phone conversations I think a little bashing is well deserved.

Since I haven't heard any reports of the US or the Swiss doing it, I'm not very worried about that.

The information about who owns the phone companies, can be verified.

OP - lots goes on we average Joes or Josephines wouldl not have a clue about, so don't worry about it. Just chill out as worrying about alleged spying will probably make you paranoid. We have a tv drama here called Spooks - whatever you do, don't watch it on the net or it will tip you over the edge. Spying, espionnage etc goes on, but really it is none of our business. Every country does it even to friendly countries - that's life.

Bring the troops home, close the bases, end foreign aid, let the ME kill each other off however they see fit!
