I think for many it's all relative. there is always someone older, no matter how old you are... at least till you are old enough to be dead. As for those of us circling in on 30, I look at it as the age where you aren't old, but you are old enough to call people younger than you "kid" the ones in their early 20s

"old" depends on who is using it and who they are describing. Teenagers believe thirty is old. 30 year old's know it isn't old. Perspective. |

"old" depends on who is using it and who they are describing. Teenagers believe thirty is old. 30 year old's know it isn't old. Perspective. A young 20-something colleague of mine said to me when I told him about this, "damn, you're old!".
