We all do have some kind of fear, fear of failure in exam, fear of failure in love, fear of ghost......
Fear of God makes many of us to behave in controlled way.
Some encircle themselves with imaginitive fear of disease, accident....
The effect of fear is generally bad.
What do you fear most?
How do you overcome your fear? scared

Nothing to Fear but fear itself

fear is natural and beautiful in it's balanced state..it helps keep us alive and well...it's the irrational fears that cause problems....when the kids were all still young and home...and I was alone raising them I had a long period of living in flight or fight mode...I feared anything and everything that I felt powerless against....and sometimes that was simply the outside world....so nights were often long...as I would get up multiple times to check doors and windows etc..and still would have sleepless nights due to the horrific nightmares which would exacerbate the situation.
Obviously, this was during an extremely unbalanced phase in my life and the fear had reached quite the irrational level, I recognized this and pushed on, with time and determination and a little time off from my stressful job outside of the home (something had to give the kids weren't going anywhere)...it passed, well the worst of it anyway....then they reached the teen years...one by one..frustrated

I recently discovered I have a healthy respect/caution/fear of giant cranky mastiffy/bull araby type dogs, that leap at me with teeth bared...

it took a completely mangled straw broom to recognise that was supposed to be my arm, that this dog was really ticked off, and didn't like people!!!

Am I scared of all dogs?...nup...Any dogs?...just a giant black and white cranky one..noway

Me, I have no love of dogs either as I got bitten by a dog for no reason at all. If they start jumping on me; I would defend myself in anyway possible.

Opps sorry if I gave the impression I don't like dogs!...just one particular dog that had a go at me, and ripped the broom out of my hand, that I had held up to block his lunge at me!!!noway

We have two dogs of our own...one a wee little snaker..a fox terrier...and a dingo/red cattledog cross...flowerforyou

Oops my bad. I just don't like the buggers taking a bite out of me or scaring me half to death when I walk by a vehicle. I will never have one of my own as I would be worried that he would someday turn on me. Has happend to quite a few people I know but I guess that happens as the dog ages. Either way; no dog is chomping on my flab.
