yeah, I hate them, their rude, uncivilized, smelly, drunk, and psycho, but the worst thing is....they are bad drivers.

my dad is a truck driver, so I would have to say I don't hate them. truck drivers have a hard job. whenther it's day runs or long haul. I've spent alot time with dad in his truck and though there are a select few bad apples, most are kind souls, clean, and all around fun people to be around.

Do I hate truckers? Nah. Would be kind of idiotic of me to hate them when my son,godson and quite a few of my friends make their living in the profession. And my dad drove a log truck.

It's like everything and everyone.
There are good and bad wherever you go...

Quite some time ago, my fiance fell from the top of a load of lumber on the back of a semi truck, suffering massive head injury, and he died two weeks later...He was a great man.

There are some like Richie was , who are very clean, dedicated, responsible,hardworking truck drivers and others who are just the opposite, so one can't just make an accurate blanket statement, cause there are always exceptions....

It is tough with the laws out there and all the money that needs to be put out to keep the truck running in tip-top shape, if you are an owner /operator. Some people sluff all the rules, and drive faulty dangerous rigs...
Some don't sleep enough...some hog the two passing lanes,
some are on speed and haven't slept for days, maybe weeks.... Yikes !!! We need to look out around us,for sure.

And like the gentleman who started this post said,
He is driving with 80,000 pounds fully loaded, if he's not over..
They can't start up fast and they cannot stop on a dime or anything close to that...
Some drivers know they are carrying a load too heavy to pass
inspection, so they travel the back roads to avoid the truck scales and to avoid detection. so we all need to be careful.

My Son drives a concrete truck...he is very responsible...

What bugs me is the people with usually the tiniest of vehicles
continually want to mess with truck drivers...
They will pass them, then slow down, then when the driver tries to pass them, they speed up...
Really lame behavior...
Wonder where they got their brains and their licences...
Maybe a gum ball machine...
or the local meth lab...

23 years behind the wheel of an 18 wheeler, i hate truck driving school trainees who think after 6 wks in a classroom they are truck drivers. does anyone here know what a rig up truck is or a 5 x 4 transmission is???

i hate the trucks they scare me to the point i cant look at them got in a car crash and was hit by one

Know someone who works in the business. Makes a ton o money. Used to be a waitress at a truck stop. Never met a trucker I didn't like. But some I didn't like the smell of though. Oh the whole, they are good down to earth folks, and hard working too. They don't always just drive. Theyhhave to help load and unload the cargo sometimes, so don't poo poo a truck driver.....we need them

How can you hate truckers? that's like being afraid of horses and hating ppl who ride them.
