My cat loves me, she really does.
Unlike human love, this love is unconditional.
She has never played around,
screwed behind my back.

She never wanted to.
House cat she is, the queen of queens.
Queen of my heart if you like,
eyes only for me.

She is dominant as all cats are.
She rules, yet rules with loving kindness.
I feed, give treats a plenty.
Well trained me.

When she thinks I have done
Something wrong, she bites, scratches.
Sometimes just holding my hand
in her gentle jaws.

Not biting always. Just letting me know.
