the early eighties was a wonderful time to be in and around hollywood too. the music scene was amazing!!! most rock bands that were any good came to L.A. for their shot at making it big. the best thing was that, if they were not booked for a show, they would play back yard parties. every weekend all over the entire so. cal. region you could go see them, or if you were brave enough (and your parents were out of town) you could have them play at your house. these events often got busted up by the police, but man oooh man did we have some wild times at these things!

my sister was dating the bass player for a group called tora-tora, they were good, but just didn’t make it real big. it did give us an in at all of the clubs though. the whiskey, the roxy, madam wongs, gazzari’s we were regulars at all of them. i know this means nothing to you, but these are legendary places in music history, it’s where bands like the doors, van halen, motley crue, guns & roses and so many more, all got their start.

it’s also where this girl I was dating broke up with me while we were all up-stairs at the wiskey (partying) waiting for our friends band (aftershock) to finish their set, so motley crue could go on. nikki six was hitting on her all night and when they finished playing, she walked up to me and simply stated, “I’m going home with nik tonight” then she handed me her keys and as she was walking away asked, “will you drop my car of at my house for me?” the year I knew him before this I never really liked him, after that night, I hated him!

i seem to have gotten off track, i'll stop for the night now...

1. i have no friends left.
2. so i can read back and remember what i did the day before.
