well it all started on the east coast.
i was born..........hold on, i need to eat. |

so any way, moved to CA. only boy, 4 sisters, catholic school. orange county...public school........

played baseball, (held several league pitching records) basketball. hated school though i was good student. that is, until i got very bored with it. surfing was much more fun!

ok, most of my grade school and jr. high teachers were products of the sixties. (throughout grade school, almost all were first and second year teachers and the majority of them were graduates of the university of CA. Berkley)this, i admit has had a profound impact on my social awareness and without a doubt, on my belief system as it pertains to social issues. (hippies will do that)

my high school years were great. it was the perfect time to be young and carefree in southern cal. even though I lost interest in school and I definitely should have and could have done better. it’s when I found love, real love, for the first time. it was also the time of experimentation. this took on many forms, from drugs to political protest and everything in between.

it also was when i got arrested...yes i was among 50 or so people who got locked up for protesting against our governments expanding policies when it came to building nuclear power plants. i was released w/out charges however. martin sheen and linda ronstadt were the reason i got hauled in that day, they just wouldn’t shut-up on the bus we were all loaded on to...
