There were a few guys I was speaking to when I first joined up....not sure if I was looking for anything but an escape from boredom, truth be told. One night/early morning I read a thread started by a cute guy with a fuzzy upper lip
 and something in his posts just made me want to try and make this man smile.
I started staying up later and later, just waiting for him to sign on so I could "casually" bump into him in the threads. I didn't want to email him first...I'm a chicken sometimes  so I would only get about three hours sleep a night so I could talk to him. I got him to email me first by posting in the truth or dare thread that if wanted to know my answer, he would have to email me.
And the rest is corny history...

Well I guess if you're fairly new here (refering to me), it would be difficult in just getting a spark started. Right? Then again, I'm probably at disadvantage becuase I've been out of country a long time. So now coming back and trying to start over seems daunting. its never too soon to spark it up, it takes one person to initiate and see where the chips fall....Good Luck!

For those of you who have spent some time on the forum, or newbies here, is there anyone remotely that you find interesting enough to ask out? If so, would you ask them out and if not why? Gosh everyone i was meeting was far away, the few i met that were local, were lame-ohs....one even stood me up after i hired a sitter. |
