This is for Glenda...
Buckeyes... 1 1/2 C creamy peanut butter 1 stick softened butter 1/2 tsp vanilla 3 C Powdered Sugar (about 1/2 lb) dippping chocolate Combine peanut butter, butter and vanilla in a lg bowl. Gradually add powdered sugar till well mixed Roll into 3/4" balls, place on cookie sheet lined with wax paper Chill in refrigerator (or freezor)for 30+ min or overnight Melt chocolate and dip balls, leaving a small area at top of ball not covered with choc. Place back on wax paper and let choc set. The cold balls with help choc set quickly Store in containers with tight lid.. (I use plastic ice cream tubs) If using coating chocolate, I add just a little bit of parafine to help the chocolate harden.. Enjoy! |
