i think a black republican pres would be cool, just to see if the democrats still yell racism at every chance...

racism is not so simple,,,people can also be racist against their own, so its possible to find a black politician who is also racist against blacks whom white racists will feel comfortable with

not saying thats what will happen, I think a second black president will have excessive scutiny as well, but that OBAMA would have opened the door by taking the bulk of what was coming,,,,

I think that the people who control the media are afraid. I scouted that faux news story site for a comment or something about RP. Nothing. But they did call Perry and Romney "front runners" of the debates last night. Apparently they don't see what's happening in their own poll. RP is running away by over 9,000 last I checked.

There was also a point recently where he came in 2nd in a straw poll, and it wasn't reported. Only 1st and 3rd place candidates were mentioned. Strange no?

It would seem that those who visit the Fox news website totaly support Ron Paul in a landslide.

But there is not one story about him on their website...strange. I guess he doesn't fit their agenda. Actually the only reason I went to FOX was the link you posted........I rarely go there. News is too biased.

Businessman Herman Cain won a Republican straw poll in Florida, a traditional showing of conservative activists' enthusiasm. Cain won with 37 percent of votes, while Texas Gov. Rick Perry came in with 15 percent.

Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney and Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) had both opted against officially competing in the straw poll, although their names were on the ballot

pretty much a total media blackout on Ron Paul. He raises many seriouse issues some I agree with others I dont, regardless he deserves far more media attention than he gets. I suppose its just another piece of evidence that the media is not just biased but basicly a form of propaganda.

What would we do for information without the internet?

Paul should be excused for his inability to answer important questions. There are many real-world questions that religions like libertarianism simply have no answer for.

I disagree. There is news about Ron Paul all over the place. ITs not on LOCAL news in most places that dont have a relation to Ron Paul though. But it IS on news like Fox, CBS, ABC, USA, as well as written media like the Post, the Times, Wall STreet Journal, Chicago Tribune

go to a search engine that searches news sources, there are about 10000 entries,,,

Fox news has a straw poll going and Ron Paul is winning by 65%

Hermain Cain just won the Florida Straw Poll. Ron Pauls website has sent numerous emails out to his supporters with the link to the Fox News poll and basically begging them to vote.. Again, another thrown poll.

Ron Paul is the man!

Not really, he is the ONLY person on that stage I cant stand. I would love to see Perry or Cain get the nomination. Ron Paul cant complete a sentance without looking like the fool he is.
Sorry Lpdon, but RP will be a factor in this election, no matter the personal grudge you hold against him. You're young, RP was doing things for this country before you were even thought of.

No he wont, ne NEVER has been a factor in a national election and this one will be no different. Hell he just tanked in ANOTHER straw poll today.

That can't be true. It's from "Faux" news.
Did your computer start smoking when you went on that site lol?
The poll indicates to me that fox news viewers prefer ron Paul at the moment nothing more. I havent done a demographics study on fox news viewers.

No, he has just been getting his supporters to come to the website and vote.

it works both ways,, if anyone says something good about him there are those that will assume its because of his race
or because they are 'blindly' following him or supporting him
or they are bleeding hearts
or they are liberals

or,, etc,,,

no accounting for personal perceptions, or personal problems

The results are as follows on the poll as of now:

Michele Bachmann
1.06% (167 votes)

Herman Cain
10.45% (1,642 votes)

Newt Gingrich
5.1% (802 votes)

Jon Huntsman
0.31% (49 votes)

Gary Johnson
0.92% (145 votes)

Ron Paul
66.02% (10,374 votes)

Rick Perry
3.48% (547 votes)

Mitt Romney
10.64% (1,672 votes)

Rick Santorum
2% (315 votes)

I do like the issues Ron Paul raises and they are worthy of disussion. It seems all y ou hear about is Perry and romney like they have a lock on it but in most polls RP is the clear winner.

I wonder why the corperate media is so afraid of this guy?

They arn't, there's just nothing to report on the guy. He wins polls because he ships in supporters from other states and counties to vote in polls. It's a good tactic to get your name out there and get in the news that you won a poll, but it's not accurate at all.

This was a perfect example in the last election. He won poll after poll and straw poll after straw poll because of this but when Super Tuesday hit the guy tanked.

Not to mention he starts to stutter when he gets frusterated and the other candidates show people who he really is.

Libertarianism believes that everyone should be a big girl or boy and solve their own problems.....that is the solution to solve your own problems....what a novelty...ehhh? A real-world answer to the real-world questions.
