Apparently if we have citizens who cannot afford to buy a $16 muffin for themself, they will still have to buy one for a 'public servant'.

if people re read the updated info, it wasnt 16 dollar muffins

it was 16 dollars for muffins, drinks, fruit, AND The tax and gratuities (basically an all inclusive price for BREAKFAST)

16 dollar breakfast... if i eat out for breakfast, it usually costs me about 8 dollars, with more amenities, with tax and tip... Hilton is just trying to cover for obama on this, and make themselves look good by TRYING to justify this idiocracy...

I doubt it if you eat out at a hotel in the area of the white house,,,,

Hilton isnt COVERING, they are EXPLAINING THe cost was not merely for a muffin,,,

umm hilton is world wide, not just in DC... they had to do some damage control, to justify bad news...if obama didn't tell them too

mcdonalds is worldwide too, and their prices vary from franchise to non franchise and according to area.....

try going to a Hilton in Manhattan, and their prices will be higher than lets say, a Hilton in Akron Ohio

thats just life,, no damage control needed for people who travel,,,,,

so whats your point? macdonalds is catering to the fatcats in washington at inflated prices? A 15 dollar big mac? or a whole value meal at 22.50?
