He served on the Gold Commission in 1982, and wrote the minority report(now published as a book-"The Case For Gold") He's written 10 books and dozens of articles on everything from sound money to war to Constitutionalism. He also accurately predicted the invasions in the mideast done without letters of marque and reprisal would lead to disaster. (he has introduced letters of marque and reprisal to congress, but they have not allowed it to be debated) Traditionally, this fort of thing has been considered "newsworthy".

He's the only one NOT selling that, no matter if you believe that or not. He is completely right, and that he is is exactly why they have to discredit him and label him a nut, because they can't debate him. If they try, they will lose and they know it.

I'm talking about things that matter....not this "I don't like him because he's Republican" or "He's a loon!" Apparently the public is starting to open their eyes and realize that they have been being screwed over for a while now. Recently Obama, and the not so recent Bush.

Did you see the thread I posted in the politics section about several members of the Bush adminstration starting to face legal problems related to war crimes? That in itself is a big indication that the barrier of protection many politicians have had for a long time, may be starting to come to an end.
