Are you willing to be a part of that? personally i dont have anything against his church but we never discuess anything about church either, so i dont understand. |

That's too bad. I used to belong to a church were the pastor would tell the women, any guys who wants to date you you bring him to me first. Well wait a minute, am I not an adult here? Able to make my own decisions about who I should date and marry? My ex husband went to his friends pastor who told him that he should leave me because I wasn't a member of his church, neither was my ex. Who is on his third marriage and still cheating. Anyway, I'm sorry to hear that he felt he had to do that. More pastors should teach the Word of God rather than dictate their own beliefs. Be encourged, things will get better.

Yes, you did dodge a bullet. All individuals should be able to think for themselves. No one should tell them who to be with. I don't care if it is your family, your boss, your friends, or your church. If this guy can't make a decision for himself; then you are dealing with a child and not a grown man. |
