Ok, can someone please explain to me, why doctors are one of the highest paid jobs around?
Today I go to the Emergency Room. Im having migrain headaches, and dizzy spells.Im there for 6 hours! 
They do a brain scan, a chest scan, a heart skan, and EKG, bloodwork, a pee scan, and assorted other tests on me.... 
Heres the skinny. 
The bad news is im gonna live!  
The good news is im Anemic,(since when?)and my kidneys are not functioning properly. But after all these tests, heres what we do know.... NOTHING! 
They have no clue whats wrong with me, my head, or my kidneys, so tomorrow, guess what they wanna do??? 
More tests!! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!! 
Like,what more can they possibly do. We have eliminated any cysts or tumors, and its very doubtfully a remission on my cancer,and I have no trama to my head or chest. Like Duh! 
WTF? 
All I know is that as long as they dont cut off my other t!t, or make me bald again, im cool. Any thing else will be petty to me, at this point! 
And for all this wisdom, they probably billed my insurance, AT LEAST $20.000 dollars, if not more!
I need to get a job as a doctor, or a weather person. 
Either way, you get paid for not having to be, totally accurate, or know the cause of why its happening! And if your wrong, you still get paid. Even if theres a hurricane you dont report, or someone dies in the E.R.

I donno...I may not be a doctor but, after doing 16 years in my Dad's Kyokushinkai Karate school....I am a more than fair hand at basic triage and treatment of a good number of things from cuts, broken fingers,toes,noses, dislocated fingers,shoulders,knees,elbows and hips.....plus a badly broken arm after a pistol whipping on christmas day three years ago. I have patched up more than one wound....and they are all different. You gotta make a judgement call.
I got alot of respect for the medical field. Those who do thier job right, got my respect. I do believe they should be well paid for the responsibilities thier field requires. I just wish that they didn't try to collect a house or boat payment every time ya visit. |
