It is POURING down rain! OMG! The world must be coming to an end! It's blowing with dark clouds at 8:45 in Houston...thunder rumbling, lightening flashing. I'm waiting for the water to fall out of the sky. I was told I'd SEE that in Houston but so far, it's almost like NM (and I SWEAR I didn't bring the desert with me!) |

Hummm Okay here is the low down on my night.... After getting to work and the a/c was not working very well looking around and wondering why the hell I was there. I decided to lock up and head to Chili's.....
Arrived at Chili's of course the good looking guy was not there....  There was another guy there that was there the same night he was... He was a talker ended up talking to him and a lady on the other side of me... They both ended up leaving they had lives of their own...
Then another guy sit down only good thing was he was nice and a Handyman but way too many issues for me.... Then this young man came in and sat at the end of the bar first glance you could tell he was Military. Due to the hair cut and the yes Mame No Mame ect.... He did not say much at first got something to eat drank tea and watched tv. After he finished eating I finally looked over and said this may sound off are you in the Military? Of course I got this Yes Mame... got to talking to him he was telling me he has been in for 8 years served two terms in Afghanistan. Which I commented that hell ya can't be more then 26 or 27 found out he was 26. Had a great conversation with this young man that was so enthused of serving this country it actually brought tears to my eyes... Yeah I picked up the tab for John and thanked him for all he does... then wished him a great evening... He left saying thank you for the meal I told him it was the least I could do I left with a smile on my face and a extra step in my walk and a warm heart... 
Now I will bid you all good night may you all have sweet dreams when you lay down your head...

Ohhh and after talking about the weather in Afghanistan and the heat they have to endure I will bare with the heat here and keep my mouth shut on how bad it is....

As I sit here the entire sky is covered with the world's biggest black cloud!
A couple of days ago the weather report was that it was nothing but a string of 100F days. I don't see how we could hit 100 with no sky showing.
