Topic: Where do you enjoy going on dates? | |
---|---|
What do you prefer for a first date? What about other dates? Where do you like to go? What do you like to do? How do you go about getting to know someone? Another thread where some said what they didn't like made me think about this, so now I'm curious.

Another thread where some said what they didn't like made me think about this, so now I'm curious. A first date to me is just the meet and greet. So to a coffee house or restaurant. Subsequent dates? Movies, dinners, dancing, parks, zoo, museum, cultural events, 6 flags, speed zone, etc...even driving 6 hours to the beach! Getting to know someone? First, the "vibes" have to be right. Then conversation and just doing things together. I guess the "vibes" depend on how she speaks and gestures to let me know if she is comfortable or not. And oh yeah, a sense of humor is important! |

Ah, yes. The coffee house or restaurant thing to have a "meet and greet" is the same idea as having a drink. I don't always want to sit down to a dinner, so drinks work well. Plus, most restaurants around here have bars. So, sometimes, it's just easier to grab a spot at the bar. Or, some have outdoor patios, which is nice as well. And on the weekends, most places around here have live music of some sort, which is awesome.

with a first meet, i like a quiet place, a walk, go to the beach, a coffee place is alright. i know in 15 minutes if there will be a second date so if there is then the clubs, music, dinner etc. that sort of thing would be for the next meet.
a first meet is to get the initial viewing out of the way and see if there is any chemistry, that doesn't take long. |

Just going for a walk is actually nice sometimes. I live by the water, so it's nice walk around the area and talk.

So i think the first time should be something fun, maybe something just different like going Bungee jumping (never tried but always wanted to), or go kart racing (seems like great ice breaker idk never done this one either). Maybe meeting at The Galleria (Local Mall) and watching the ice skating rink and talking while just relaxing would be nice ( now im gonna need ice skating lessons, wonder how different from roller skating this is).
If i was in her area say visiting her, i would be fine with whatever she thought would be fun. I really wouldn't focus on making a spark because i would hope the spark was what got us to the date. I would let the date make itself and just enjoy the time. Quit checking out my butt, that's what makes me nervous |
