Well, I've always enjoyed it with romance novels. Usually found it erotic, though there was a few times where it just became funny as Hel, when he decided to mock it and get goofy.

Regular books, a paragraph or two are fine, but otherwise my thoughts scatter. It's why I don't care for audiobooks.

Unfortunately, most that I dated weren't interested in reading.

Well, I will say this.
About that.
The KamaSutra is more interesting
when read upside-down.

Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty Trilogy, definitely erotic and kinky.

This wasn't the topic that my ADD mind forgot laugh ; but I can remember a time when men and women would read to each other. Is that outdated?

I think it is but am sure some husbands would rather have it this way than their wives talking endlessly about what seem to be nonsense to them, nagging for example. frustrated

They did that in the movie "In Her Shoes" the guy found his "straight-laced" girlfriend's trashy romance novel and started reading it to her...

"Simon Stein: [reading from one of Rose's romance novels] "His fingers tangled in her curls while his tongue plundered the soft cavern of her mouth. She made no protests. Her furnace was alight. Jack drew his lips from hers and urged her forward so he could take one shirt-veiled nipple into his mouth. Kit's gasp urged him on. He licked the material until it clung to the right peak then drew the turgid flesh deep into his mouth. Kit moaned, her body spasming in response. Her eyes were closed, her lips parted." Okay, um, embarrassing as this is to admit, I'm officially turned on. "

I agree. An algebra book, by no means, is interesting, but I have done that. I had to be tutored all the way through that college class noway . But I Aced it! drinker

My daughter has read most of her books. She started reading them when she was in High School. Maybe I'll buy her that Trilogy and borrow ...just in case I get lucky
