We had rain today and yesterday(5"of rain in 3 hrs on Wed) but its been 100+ here all week.. I have a pool right outside my front door (I'm in a garage apt) but its too hot during the day to get in.. the water is way toooo warm. A dip about 7pm relaxes and cools off the body and makes sleeping better...

94 degrees cooling off to 64 tonight. The rocky mountains weather can be grand. Thunder storms tonight again.

I just relocated from Vermont to hot and sunny Florida! Sure, you can fry an egg on my truck right about now but I'm loving every damn minute of it. I've never been so happy to glisten with sweat three seconds after I step out to have a smoke. It does rain here, but only for about 15 minutes and then, poof, out pops the sun again. I absolutely love, love, love it!! I think the heat index is 115 or so here today and I'm not complaining one iota!

Ugh! I just took a thirty minute cold shower! I sure would like a nice float from Canyon Lake Dam to Cedar rapids right now ... even if my butt would drag on the rocks.!!!!

No Dude...wash your car.....trust me...it works. might have worked a little TOO well... not only got rain, now there are Tornado *warnings* just east of here, but the storm is moving west to east, so we avoided it for now. |
