Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month in 1984...and the third Sunday in July as National Ice Cream Day. (THAT'S TODAY, FOLKS!)

Reagan recognized the popularity of ice cream and stated that these two events should be observed with "appropriate ceremonies and activities."

True patriots should come forth with scoops and bowls!

Trader joes or vics. Or get fresh blackberries and one of those new ice cream balls.

Lived in Northridge had my own blackberry plants.
