What are German Fried Pies? 
Grounded German sausage, cooked potatoes slightly mashed, carrots cooked slightly mashed, red cabbage cooked, a little hot German mustard, with pastry dough wrap around it. Then fried in hot a pan with butter. A meat pie.

Making some sandwiches to take along to watch the Perseid Meteor Shower tonight in the mountains with friends, we play John Denver's fire in the sky. Written for the August Meteor Showers.

The mountains are going to be pretty cold tonight. Got my telescope out, cleaned it most of the afternoon. Friend has a camera that will fit on the scope. Going to be a full moon but we will be away from the city lights, even with a full moon it does indeed get real dark there.
Around ten tonight in your area would be a good place to view them also. |

I am going to see if I can find them, but with the full moons light don't know if I will be able to see it, but it will still be pretty to watch, around ten tonight okay.

If you can get away from the lights of the city you will be able to view the show better even with a full moon. It is pretty awesome to see.

I think I know a perfect place, its along next to the river away from the lights, its next to a country side, yes!!! I am there it will be fun going to take some soda and snacks, make a night of it.
