Yes; ask those who have been married for over 20 years and now divorcing.

I don’t think it’s “fall” so much as it is grow

i personally believe you can, but like kc003 said its more of a growing out of, not so much falling, love is a complicated thing as you all know,

I agree. We live, we learn, we grow. What we want, what we need, what we feel all develops with us. If we don't truly evolve together, we will grow apart.

I believe its more of not working on staying in love, too many couples get complacent and the relationship grows stale.

i feel that anything is possible
for there is a guy that i met many moons ago after i just got out of a 3yr relationship
as this guy had a awsome sense of humor and made me feel i was special
i knew how he felt. and i broke his heart by going back to the ex for i was cornered for he showed up out of the blow

but any how we had contact with each other over the yrs
and we got together before thanksgiving
and i didnt feel the connection that we once had
he felt i was nervious
which i wasent
i think it was just i didnt feel the connection that we once had

i even though his feeling was still there but listening to what he was talking i was sure that his feelings were still with his ex
and sure enough i was right
they got back together and i guess there planing on getting married very soon

Or maybe it is that we stop loving, rather then fall out of loving...

Possible. Some christians who love Jesus at one point convert to atheism. So they fell out of love with Jesus. I think this parable proves that it is possible to fall out of love with a human, as the love that bonds you to god is always and necessarily stronger than you are allowed to feel for anone else according to the ten commandos. So since it is possible to break that bond, it must necessarily be possible to break a less strong bond, and then bang, you fall out of love, since there are no ropes to keep you hanging on the lovers' cross no more.

^ ah, and this, too. How could I not remember. This is the best so far, a better answer than all others, incl. my own answers.

I have to say, though, for the sake of completeness, that you can forget how to love, or you can lose your ability. You can't fall out of love with your true love, but you can be made to entirely lose the ability to love and also to completely lose the recollection what it felt like when you loved.
