Or one with the bows pulled taunt?
Pause for a moment and ask,
Does it matter where we go?
Does it always end up the same?
When we take the high or low road?

Now look –
Gazing at each other’s life.
Questions and answers,
Does it even matter who is right?
Now let the players begin,
Allow our lives to play out.
A predetermined road,
Even if we protest with shouts.
Are we aware,
Of if we even lie?
Will it always be the same,
The way we die?
Another move taken,
Another year gone.
No matter what we do,
We never live long.
