Our Fathers, Mothers, Sister's and Brother's.
Aunt's,and Uncle's, cousin's and friends.
Many of our Children,,
Left here to go to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Fighting for what they believed in their heart.
Many will not be coming home,
families shattered, torn apart.
Words will be said, Their funerals will fade away.
Their children will grow, without them to know.
Sure they have pictures and will talk about them for years.
Everyone who loved them, will spend their lives lost in tears.
Every American life taken, will never be forsaken.
A Hero to This Country, and their families.
All of their families lives, forever fragile, and shaken.
In this tormented end to our Governments pursuit,
for justice, and their attempts to stop Terrorism.
Families will be this Nations review Board to prosecute.
As its malignancies of misperception's become unraveled.
From its first words of Infamy, "weapons of mass distruction".
To all these proud and brave troops who died for our Liberty.
Many will question OUR GOVERNMENTS REASONING and IT'S INTEGRITY.
I respect and honor every fighting American Man and woman.
I struggle with one soldier's life being lost, on foreign soil.
Who may have been deceived. Every Stand, to fight has casulties.
This we all know and many witnessed it first-hand in Viet Nam.
WE swore then we would never allow that to happen again.
