JUST IN CASE YOU MISSED THE STORY, HERE IT IS AGAIN!! DOUBLE POST!! Tonite on "Luv Totage", love and totage try to catch some bank robbers and totage gets shot in the head, causing him not to remember who he is, and he joins the circus, becoming a clown, and runs away from luv, while Luv also joins as the "one boobed freak show" to try to rescue him. It could happen?? I wanted to be unrealistic things e.g a famous singer. Of course, when kids are kids, they get weird idea's :), ha ha. Its never too late to be a singer. Ive been singing all my life and im 48 and still singing. You havent missed your chance yet... Go for it!!! |

I could be an ice cream woman... except I would eat all the profits, and weigh in at about 300 pounds!! I love ice cream!!!! If you want to get on my good side, offer me ice cream. I adore the stuff! Problem is, I'm lactose intolerant ... so it doesn't love me! I'm experimenting with different things like almond and coconut milks, to try and make my own. I get one "free day" on my diet and you KNOW that dessert will always include some kind of ice "cream". NOM NOM NOM |

Just found this thread...
I wanted to be aeronautical engineer and test pilot for new supersonic aircraft. But then I needed to start wearing glasses, and it all changed. After that, I wanted to be an author. Right now, I'm looking to change careers. I'm getting tired of the restaurant business (mainly the owners). I was also an electrician, but didn't enjoy it enough to be my life's work. Now I am thinking about writing a movie script for one of two ideas I've had for 13 years now. Maybe it's time to start writing again. |

Moviebytes list of screenwriting competitions & markets It's a little late in the year for most contests, but it will probably take you until next year to write and perfect it. Good luck! |

If I was super-motivated (which wouldn't take much....like finding a comfortable job), I could complete one of the scripts in just a few months. The other script is a bit more complicated to work out. That one would take much longer.
Still, the easier script does have the makings of a summer blockbuster. I'm going to keep the script itself rather simple. The main thing is to establish the right tone and setting. Without that, the script loses its punch. |

From as early as I can remember I wanted to be an artist. Actually I guess I just started drawing and seemed get good comments about it so continued and then it just developed and grew as these things do.
Then around 14 I discovered music, or should I say music jumped into my heart in a major way around that time (thanks Beatles - MMT and White Album). It was some kind of major force in my soul! Before that, it was just fun noise on the radio (Monkees). Then when I actually learned to play an instrument, it quickly became a career and blossomed and blah, blah, blah. Long story short - it all came true. And I'm so glad it did! Other dreams appeared along the way (film and TV director, writer, animator) and those were realized too, at least on a certain level. So dreams can come true - it can happen to you - but you have to work hard at making them happen! I say, you excell at what you spend time doing - and that includes doing nothing. What's the old addage - the harder I practice - the luckier I get! I believe this! But still, a little actual luck don't hurt either!!! :) FantasyArtMan |

Hi Minglers, im curious... What did you wanna be when you grew up, when you were a kid? And what are you doing now? Ill start... Believe it or not, I wanted to be a police officer. (I know) My mom bought me a cop kit, with a plastic badge, a plastic gun and holster, and a plastic nightstick, and plastic handcuffs.... Maybe thats where my love for handcuffs came from. I used to take a notepad, and pencil, around the neighborhood, and write people tickets for various things like... Parking your bike on the sidewalk. Playing too loud. Speeding on their bikes. Saying bad words. Making ugly faces. Name calling. Playing in the street. Throwing things at people. Hitting people. Making fun of people. and lots more silly things!! I think I should be given a ticket, for few of those things, now! What am I doing now? Im a musician, and a full time professional poster at Mingle 2. Your turn.................. P.S. I did forget to say on this thread, that I have a book of poetry published also...so I guess im a poet too. |

I play many other instruments including guitar (electric and classical), flute, percussion, drum programming, etc., but now I focus on playing keyboards as I continue to compose and produce - my real passion. It's amazing how you can have the gear from fine pro studios at your fingertips through your computer these days, and all for pennies! But I hope I get the idea across about spending time towards doing what you want to be! Not all goals can be reached this way, but I believe "where there's enough will, there's probably a way". And I think THAT'S one of this great lessons from this thread! As for my music, please ask me in private. I'd love to hear what you do too, seriously! Thanks! FantasyArtMan |

Wow, you play everything, thats talent!!
Im not shy, this is my latest song and video. Hope you like hard rock! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0Jhrr5vhRs Hehe, I only play what I play, you know, you pick stuff up along the way. And that's my point about spending time doing what you want to be/do, or whatever - but of course these things can become an obsession too! I LOVED that song, and the video too! Really enjoyed the vocals and crunchy guitar - clean lead too! The video is a hoot! Love the martial arts moves (another passion!), and the whole idea for the video was great too! And what a hook in that song! Ballsy, but accessible! I wish college radio was in better health - this song would be all over it!!! Thanks for sharing it! (think I'll take another look!)
