Topic: Drugs target audience, Inner cities? | |
---|---|
What do you think, for years theories have floated around about how the govt. purposely tried to shovel drugs into inner cities where lower income and african-americans tend to populate. This was in hopes that they would go crazy and kill each other or kill themselves on drugs or over drugs.
Whats your thoughts? Is this any different that the govt. experimenting with LSD on our soldiers? Or do you think it was strictly a plan to take out poor people and african-americans.... |

This is a quote from another thread, however it did not apply to that thread, so I started this one,
By Volant7 "Ever notice that on every corner in any inner city there is a liquor store? Do you think that is by accident? Notice how crack and tar heroin seems to miraculously appear in the ghetto's first. This is no accident either....... are you saying that drugs arrive in ghettos of america by a planned conspiracy group? like a cocaine import agency? well just call them the (cia) to keep the name short.tons of drugs come in the country everyday to keep the flow going.obviously the homeland security plan isnt working.how can we keep terrorists out of the country if we let tons of drugs come in on a daily basis for 40+years.this group the cia seems to have job security. they bring in drugs under our nose and sell them to gangs who then sell them to samaller people who get caught and generate money through fines and generate more money through working in the prisons.maybe we should have them run our country? law requiring welfare recipients to take drug test. im glad if this passes i tired of seeing (welfare recipients)bush, clinton, mayors ,judges and cops on drugs while collecting our hard earned money.if you work for the government you should be tested for drugs. I've discussed this before in another thread. Yes! It's no accident. Addiction is just another form of control. Who else does the govt. want to control more than the poor? Uh.....that's right. I said it....... It's a way to distract people from actually thinking or organizing anything....... It's a way to get people to fight themselves....each other.....eliminates the potential problem of people questioning authority. Kills off the people the govt. deems as a drain on society......

How do you feel about METH LABS, they seem to be popping up everywhere. is this something that originally spawned from trailor parks and have moved into high end cul de sacs, (suburbs) and what not? |

I live in the bible belt. Funny thing is all the dry counties here seem to have the most meth labs........

there may be a fair amount of truth....
"give em enough rope to hang themselves" mentality the poor addicts that drain society - sure, why not wipe em off the map, what purpose do they serve, most are criminals anyway... that way the 1% that has all the money won't have to deal with this element... I mean really... does anyone actually believe our 'war on drugs' is stopping drugs? we have as much of a caste society as any where else, we just pretend it isn't there...and talk of equality |

the government has to do something to keep the ATF and DEA busy,by the way who is winning the war on drugs, last i heard it was the mexican drug cartels

Ha, war on drugs, thats a good one...It's one of the largest economic contributors we have. Cops dont target dealers, they target customers, they generate more money that way.

It was the Nazi's who created Methamphetamine. They were forced to create synthetic drugs due to embargoes and their limited access to materials. Meth created the "super soldier" One who could stay awake for days, stay focused.....and not require food. They also invented methadone. It's a synthetic opiate. This came about due to their inability to acquire morphine. You cannot fight a war without morphine any more than you can fight one without ammunition........ All this is a legacy from WW2......
America's drug problem can be traced back to the Civil War......when soldiers were wounded and sent home with huge amounts of laudnum....... Basically.....liquid morphine....... |

Handing someone a gun doesn't mean they will go kill someone. Even if they did push drugs into inner cities, the people are still responsible for what happened and what is still happening. There is so much drug abuse around the country from all walks of life, it makes it hard for me to believe inner cities were targeted.
I could see the gov pushing drugs into inner cities but I don't think thats exactly how it happened. For poor people drugs bring 2 things they feel they cannot get without them, relief and money. When life sucks we want an escape and drugs provide that to an extent and we all know there is a lot of money to be made in selling drugs. That is why I think inner cities became a drug capital, fast easy money and relief from the stress of being poor. The introduction of crack is where it took off. I believe that was the first cheap, very addictive, and easy to make drug. It has stayed in the inner city because it is cheap, people with money will just buy cocaine. Drugs bring money, money brings power, power brings corruption. It comes down to money being the root of all evil to me. They brought it in themselves for the money, and when the money came, hell broke loose. |

I think meth didnt necessarily span from trailer parks, I think its only becoming more POPULAR and more RECOGNIZED, but I dont think it began as a poor persons drug because it comes from a PRESCRIPTION medication that treats 'illnesses' that are probably more often treated in middle to upper class communities, ,, particularly 'depression' |

They would abuse it, but they wouldn't try making a business of it since they have easier legal ways of making money. |
