Really its probably best to be her friend for a while longer, let her love you if she can and tell her when you think its right for her.

First of all, if you like this girl, then all you can do is continue to show you care for her, and that you like her. Don't sugarcoat it. If you want a relationship with her, then realize that even though it isn't a "perfect" time, that life rarely presents a "perfect" time. She went through a bad relationship. Ok. Haven't we all? And if she cannot see that you will treat her better and that you can't help how you feel, then so be it. It's her fault. Not yours.
You can play the friend role. Nothing bad about that. But you won't get her in the end. High percentage that some other guy will come in, show her love, and she will go off with him. You'll have done all the work being her friend only to lose out in the end. Or, a small chance you won't. It's tricky. No doubt about it. But if you like this girl, then continue to show it and let her know that you want to be so much more. |

Keep chipping away...the walls come down eventually, although it might be in bits and pieces.

Thanks i dnt want to rush her and lose her as a friend just be her friend, isn't that enough? rush her into what? sex? making a commitment? if shes your friend, all these things will be self-evident, no need to force or rush her into anything... people always make that mistake, thinking they need a commitment out of a relationship... if they like or love each, the commitment will be natural and much better for you both... |

the walls come tumbling down only when 2 things are in place. first, they are ready and second, they are ready for it to be with you. just be friends, don't push, be prepared for pushback, and decide how much of you you want to invest without expectation (that's critical!), because the situation might not change.
