When we DELIGHT in God,

HIS desires become OUR desires.

The MORE we delight in Him, the more we

desire the VERY same things that God desires for us.


We lose interest in our old desires as we delightt in God...

the desires that God has for us,

now become our desires....


but that only can happen by delighting in God.

He also said He judges those that preach, teach and lead others in His word more stringently.

I would advise both of them for the sake of their souls that if they cannot resist that temptation, they should get out of the ministry.

All I can say is, it is your life to live. You are the only one that has to live with your choices, both in this world and the next.

You are asking for permission to openly sin as a preacher of God's Word. That would be like a married Pastor openly having sex with another married woman and asking for everyone to accept it because they are in love.

god says to love everyone, not to have sex with everyone... if gayness is just having sex, then it is wrong... people can control their urges, and that's what the bible says. you don't have to believe in god to believe what the bible says on how to live a good, clean life...

The option is only there to check if you have your religion listed as Christian (or Catholic). If you have Atheist, Other, etc, you don't have the option to see this forum. The only way you would find it is by following a regular poster into the forum through their posts.

Everyone sins. There are no exceptions.

The issue is to try to fight the sins. Pastors should be much more aware and repentant for their sins than anyone else.

Any Pastor that openly sins is misleading his congregation. Actions speak louder than words. Doesn't matter what the sin is. If they are sinning acknowledge they are sinning and announce their intention to commit the same sin again, how good of a spiritual leader are they?

Has nothing to do with gay vs straight. It has everything to do with sin and what we are supposed to do about sinning.

You are sinning and you are advertising sinfulness everytime
you stand before those who are searching for truth and you are instead
teaching them false doctrine.

As many have said in their replies, homosexuality is a sin and is condemned by God. It is not the only sin and Christians are not perfect. God knows that all of us struggle with our own sins. The difference between forgiveness and condemnation is the condition of our hearts. If you are struggling with sin and truly trying to stop God knows. He also knows if you are sinning and ask for forgiveness with no intention to stop sinning. Everyone has a choice and they have to answer for what they choose in the end. The choices people make are between them and God.
