So do you trust the information provided by talking heads or do you take what they say as half truths missing information???

It turns out often enough to be
the truth, so I am good.

I trust what I can cipher out as actual FACTS(as opposed to interpretations and opinions),,but they are far and few in between

I Generally dont pay much heed for at least two weeks because 'breaking news' is almost always the most sensational and the least dependable

every media puts their own spin on the news.
it's up to us to glean our own truth on the matters.

when it's not political i usually believe it...but the anything with campaigning i tend to disbelieve...

Not a chance..they misconstrue everything and are always taking words out of context..their job is to report the facts and only the facts

For instance,they are reporting about doomsday prophecy yet there are no viable facts worth reporting on..nowadays all they want to do is make people feel like crap

agreed, they all lie or either say what they are told to say... very rarely the truth on anything...

I would just once like to see a story..........ah hell, who am I kidding, I don't watch that shi#.

Let me show ya an example:
News:
A 40 yr old woman was assaulted by another pedestrian while walking across 5th ave and madison..we were unable to get further conformation from the hospital as to the well being of the woman..passerby's had witnessed the whole incident..stay tuned in for further details...

Real story:
A 40 yr old woman was assaulted by another woman while crossing the street.The woman who did the assault had a child with her and was texting on her cell.A truck was about to turn the corner but the driver didn't see the child.
The other woman saw what was about to occur and grabbed the child.The woman then told the mom that she was a dipshyte for not paying attention..the mom smacked the woman for saying that and took off with her child and didn't say thank you to the woman for saving her child.

No...this isn't a true story..I made them both up but you can tell the difference if it were a true story

The "Drive by media" Has a liberal slant on it. So while what they say may be "True"

They ussually report news that makes the left look good. OR the right look bad. If it makes the left look bad, you will almost never hear about it.

So I try and take what the media says with a grain of salt. It helps offset the taste of Bull$hit! :D

There really isn't a left or a right, that's just an illusion to make us think there's any difference between parties when there really isn't much at all.

I dont really mind the media--some countries are not even allowed access to computers and television, they are kept in submission. At least they are making attempts to reach us...Not all they say is false, just not all they say is true. But sometimes you will see a breaking story does ring to be true. ..and sometimes false or prematurely reported with slightly construed facts..
