Ok So after reading his rant. May I just reiterate what others have already said. Some GUYS are just as bad with their profile pics. And whats with the holding a fish picture? Is that supposed to show that you can "provide" for me? And pics of cars? I guess that gives ou a clue that they actually have a car. Or they are standing next to an expensive car trying to impress you. Personally, I think people need to have more than just one pic on their profile, to show you a few different views. And I don't mind the tilted heads. BUT HATE the sideways pictures, I mean come on, REALLY? Almost anyone can figure out how to rotate a picture to post. AND noone I know enjoys looking at fuzzy pictures.

So if you want to criticize about others on here perhaps you should windex the glass house you live in. And don't generalize.

One time I saw a profile pic with a chick sitting in a drivers seat like she's driving. In her profile under "Own a car" it said "N/A". Of course........I sent her a message asking since she doesn't own a car, did she steal the one she was in for the pic. That beotch never responded!

Then...there is the opposite end of the spectrum.....

Posting "real" pix. Pretty much everyday I see some pix and I think "Is that seriously the best pic you got?"

Being an artist and pretty vain...I got no problem with trying to present an appealing photo to lure em in....Even animals will groom and preen to attract some nooky. Minglers....not so much.

If someone is at least TRYING to look appealing....GOOD! A pouty look or a whimsical tilt of the head, strategic cropping or showing some cleavage....at least they are ATTEMPTING to appear more attractive....I for one apprecieate the effort.

I totally agree with you. Getting more and more into photography, I am truly appreciating a tri pod to go with my SLR and a few low light lenses.

I got to the point where I didnt like the typical hands over the head and snapping the picture. Which for some reason when my space came out. I beleive everyone had at least one.

So, probably not being much as an artist as you. I agree with you. I love it when people take time and trying to look appealing.

I hear that Shrx...my cheap tripod is priceless and the 2 minutes I used to figure out the timer settings was time well spent.

The whole holding the phone up between themselves and the mirror that blocks out half the persons face from the flash......Dude.....

It tells me that they put the absolute bare minimum of effort into thier pitch.

I think the last three I put on here of me, at least of the two close ups took me 2 hours. Shaved, showered, and a lil visine to make my eyes clear....haha
