Loving the talent on this new show, and the premise of it being about voice and nothing else. Also love the idea of artists picking whom they wish to work with. AN all around great show.

My money is on Javier though, Capitol Records dropped the ball with this one,,,

When I was a little kid, there was a singer named Kate Smith. Having just come out of WWII, she did a bunch of patriotic songs. She was obese and nothing to look at, but she was universally beloved as a singer.

Today, in order to be a singing star, you must be a feast for the eyes as well as a good singer. In this way, I think the days of radio were better. I wonder how many awesome singers we will never hear because they don't have a face to match.

I certainly have, I will have to look up that song though,, doesnt ring a bell.
