True on the vaccuum and allergy meds, but some people makeit a bigger deal. I love dogs too! I grew up with them as well as hamsters, chickens, goats, etc,... This is my first cat and he's more like a cat trapped in a dog's body.

sounds like a species orientation problemtongue2

I grew up with an apple-domed Siamese. Carina was dumped shortly before I was born and my folks rescued. She was 17 when she passed away.

All animals in my household. Though not snakes. Like them, but couldn't feed them.

He looks big enough to be a moose!

My favorite chocolate lab was named Shooter. She used to help babysit me and my sisters. lol She was an awesome dog.

He is a good boy, the funny thing is he thinks he is a cat. If you sit on the couch, he will climb on the back of the couch and try to drape himself over your shoulders in order to cuddle.laugh

My cat's like a dog....lmao

If I can get him to walk on a leash, he would love going outside. Just hate the fleas.

who you or the cat?laugh

yes that's big risk of venturing into the outdoors - all treatable but very time consuming

To walk my cat....lol
Yeah, it's very clostly. He's gotten fleas just from me bring them home from visiting family with pets. But he does like going outside, just not like a dog to follow on a leash. He'd probably stop to smell all the roses, one after the other....lmao

Cats are trainable, but it's best to start as early as possible while they're kittens, the younger the easier. They can be trained to walk on a leash.

ferrets are so cute. I thought of getting one, but since my cat like things that move, he might want to pounce on it. And a ferret should have some freedom. Plus they are scavengers....lock your stuff up.

Don't let him fool you, you just have to have patience. lol Is he playful? Perhaps you could entice him with toys and treats.

not by toys, maybe....maybe a treat. He likes treats, but not to do something he doesn't feel like doing or even if he did want to do. I think he's A.D.D.
