Topic: Deletion? | |
---|---|
I've just read on the poetry board that someone has two "hits" for deletion. Can somebody please explain this to me? Is the poetry being CENSORED?????
P.S. I LOVED TxsGurl's poem!!! and do NOT believe it should be censored in anyway shape or form....poetry is an EXPRESSION!!!!!!

Its mostlikly an self motivated attack that is not real. I saw a guy get deleated for asking "Any women in the Tampa Area" That was all he said. I see some nomatefd you to be deleted. Hmmmmmm

Umm, this is a site for people over 18 right? so... why censor anything?
still think a chat room would be better

HOW do people "vote" to delete? I dont see a voting ballet anywhere? How does this happen? Can someone explain this to me?

I agree, MsWizard. The deletion feature is a little ridiculous, in my opinion. The only instances that should be up for deletion are vulgar attacks and spam — and it shouldn't be based on a vote. Let the owners of the site determine if something that's been nominated has violated any actual rules. And if a message is in the wrong forum, how about we nominate to have it moved rather than deleted?
I think the new censorship feature is simply a bad idea. |

I also saw some ask "What are you haveing for diner?" at it was put up for deleation.
Just another way for those who have self entitled themselves masters of this site to get away with being mean and cruel to the new people and those who are not part of the cliques. |

resserts I haven't even SEEN a delete option anywhere so Im not sure how they do it? I dont believe in board nazi's unless there is something really disgusting (and I've seen a few of those <<she stares pointedly at the disgusting post from the other day>>, or if its spam or truly violent....why and how is this done??
believe it or not this post had 1 vote for deletion, this crap is frigging rediculous
well being hungry AND from the Tampa Bay area DOES call for deletion....

"believe it or not this post had 1 vote for deletion, this crap is frigging rediculous"
Where do you SEE that it has a vote for deletion?? I'm LOST can someone show me this deletion thing???? |
i think (oh oh)
a search would be much better than moderating for the duplicate thread issue and yes i have seen some delete issues that were just wrong like newbies saying hi there maybe some suspensions in order for abusing the moderation privilege i guess if ya see one up for deletion just vote against it but hey what do i know |
ok iRon, I can't SEE anywhere that there is a deletion thing on here...Im feeling like I'm having a blonde moment under my red hair...
Newbies saying hi get voted for deletion?? I feel like I'm in a bad Sci Fi flick...

Go find Mike's post on "moderating". This system is rather unique if you will sow down & undersatan it. At the top of threads look for "MODERATE". WE can say yes or no. I think this is a great system if you will just give it a chance. The members moderate the site. Find me another site that does this.
We say DELETE or NO DELETE. Give it a chance folks & learn it. |
Ok for the blondes
Just joking any time a new threade is started it is put up for deleation if voted on by anybody it is put uo to a vote to be deleated or voted to stay. |
when a new thread is started a box is but in the bottom of the origenal post
it remains there for a period of time if it is not used it vanishes if someone flags it it takes 7 of ten deletes to lose the thread it takes 4 of ten to keep the thread |
Ms...
Under Community....you have the tabs for "Forums, Moderate". If you click on "Moderate" a list of threads will come up with which to vote on...deleting or not to delete... I hope this helps |
