T.S. Eliot once said that the world will not end with a bang but with a whimper. And you?

I'd like to end with a bang.

I really wasn't speaking in specifics, but do hold that thought.

“Don't wake me for the end of the world unless it has very good special effects”
~Roger Zelazny i'm going with the bang theory. |

I think it will end when they throw me in a 6 foot hole and the bang will be the shovel evening out the ground so they can walk all over me.

I read those who responded and the general feel was that when they die it would be the end of the world.
I give that thought great merit because to each has created the world, and when they are gone so is the world...to them. the actually planet earth does go on tho. and I think about that more than I should...it is not any one persons burden to worry of such an event. But if I were to guess out of the scope that my brain can wrap around..I think it will be a cataclysm...horrid climatic wrath. Shifting of polars and equaters, complete annihilation. This planet will burst into an infinite amount of specs and become a nutrience for the universal community. and I think that all of us, all of mankind will never have to worry or witness, we will be long gone. who knows.. we might be playing croquet with the dinosaurs in some better place when the world finally breaks down and crumbles. |

I will go as the many who have already went and those still yet to go and all who travel my time,,we shall fall as rain,,in the silents to never be felt or heard,,just,,,,,,know I was wet when leaving.
OK,,,that BANG approach HAS MERIT!!!!! |

I hoping to be too busy to notice how it all ends. I'd rather be spending one last passionate moment with my babe when it happens.
