Women lie just as much as the "pig" men do. I do not understand why this is a debate. Its not gender specific, its Human specific. Humans lie period. These days HUMANS will say and do anything just to gain what they want from you.

people lie because they are either too scared to tell you the truth, or they figured out that lying will get them what they want. neither men nor women are innocent or guilty - it's more about the kind of people you are attracting to yourself. if every man you've dated lies to you, you might want to change what kind of guys you're attracting.

i had a old bf when we were together he would promise that he wouldnt do what he had done again and yea right he did it again and of course it pist me off. and were still friends after 18yrs but we dont hang around together, as he still bugs the crap out of me as he still does things that he promises and doesnt apply to them... i even remember him stating that he would be over in 5min and that was like 3days later when he would show up.just like the other day he stated he would be over and that was a few days ago, i didnt bother to call and he didnt call me. im not worried hes probably out drinking like normal.

okay i will be honest for once and answer this age old question of why men lie.
1. Women train us to lie
ex does this dress make me look fat-answer a lie no honey it doesnt. truth yes makes you look like your smugglin sacks of beans.
2. Women expect us to lie
ex. do i look prettier than her-answer oh yes baby your are way prettier than her. truth you aint even in the same hemishere as her.
3. We want to get laid
ex. do you love me-answer yes truth for now till i get some
4. We want to get laid
ex. will you respect me in the morning-answer yes i will truth i just hope i remember your name in the morning.
5. We want to get laid. okay now you know why we lie.

i myself have only lied to protect a girl from getting physicaly hurt or put in jail cus she did somthing out of anger

I don't like lyers or lyin. I have known people that go way overboard and lye about everything and it’s so noticeable that it’s sickening. I do feel however that there are situations that someone might think it requires bending the truth. I have done it just to avoid having an argument erupt over small stuff. Just recently I was caught in just that situation and three days later the truth came out and we still fought about it. So, is it right to lie? This will often be determined by the situation. Does it payoff to lie? You might think it will but most of the time you get caught in a lie and now you have two things to argue about. I could say that men lie because women make us, but I wont.

I sometimes have had to lie for the same exact reasons. They are really just to protect the other's feelings...which I know is wrong. I have to take the guy's side on this one. We all have been at fault here. Those that can honestly say they have not then more power to them...I am proud of you.
