There are many reason to lie, but rarely does it out way the need of simple honesty.

IMHO it may be for the same reason we ladies do, because we want something we can't have and sometimes it's easier to lie and get it than do without.

Actually, sleeping standing up is very easy to do.

I've done it on a few occasions, quite by accident. I think the idea that "lying is easy" is a farce; not only do you have to remember the lie, but you also have to remember the truth too
