Oh, speaking of bugs, strange thing happened at my house lately. Honey bees are flying on my porch in swarms at night and then end up dead in the morning.

I just saw this on HGTV's Curb Appeal.
If you paint the ceiling of your porch sky-blue,
bees and wasps and birds will not nest there.
Because they think it is the sky.

wow, that's interesting! i wonder if they are flying into it? i know we have a few mirror-like buildings around here and birds are always flying into those, their final destination....

What I find strange is that I've never seen them fly at night. From what I know of bees, they are usually back in the hive when it is dark. Lately, they are out and about during the night.
