Being a Louisiana local, I actually skipped out on my favorite holiday and cleaned my house.
Later I made homemade spagetti and curled up with my cat to watch Season 3 of Dirty Jobs on Netflix. Mardi Gras isn't celebrated everywhere, so what did you do today? |

Slept...ate lunch...came to work. Yeah good times huh?

I can hear the parades from my house. And considering every weekend the Quarter is packed, but not as much. Its pretty much a party scene every weekend

Hummm it was my day off so I went to find me a new pair of work shoes. Had to get a few grocery's then went to Ross, to find some newborn baby cloths for a baby shower for my new grandson that will soon be coming into this world.....
Now I'm back at home fixed me some lunch and eating as I'm reading the forums watching Ghost Whispers.....

I have been on Spring Break from schooll....and sitting here all day waiting for my kid to bring my car to me so I can go to dinner with my oldest child.

Going to a cook out on the beach in a couple hours instead of dealing with beads and drunks downtown. I think I'm making the better decision.

I went to my small home town parade sunday and still have a welt on my face from the little league float. Apparently, someone's eight year old is ready for the major leagues now. |
